About Us
As we embark on this new adventure just a little history about us and how we’ve come to this place. Darrell and Jennifer have been married for 36 years; we have 2 sons Dustin and Derrick, 2 wonderful daughter in-laws and 4 glorious grandchildren. Our family is the light of our lives! As a family we have actively been involved in many aspects of agricultural business. Dusty and Derrick have taken over the reins with regards to the farming and ranching operations of 4-M Farms Land and Cattle Co., consistently improving upon the quality and size of this area of agribusiness. They’re carrying on a family tradition of raising beautiful black cattle and managing the land and crops required for a successful cow-calf operation. We enjoy watching their progress as their herds grow and flourish. Perhaps one day our grandchildren will be the 5th generation to carry on this legacy.
Back to the patriarch, Darrell is a lifelong resident of the area raised on a farm west of Yale, OK a farm boy through and through. Jennifer is a proud former military dependent, basically a child of the world with all the travels and moves growing up. We’re both proud of where we came from and how our differences have served us. As a young married couple and family we learned quickly that in market driven industries diversity was key to survival. Darrell raised cattle, farmed wheat and hay, sold MoorMan’s Feed, auctioneered and sold Real Estate in addition to operating his family’s oil business. Jennifer was raising two precious little boys, assisting Darrell and keeping the home fires burning. In 1986 Darrell and Jennifer purchased the family oil business and continue to own and operate this to date. Life has always been busy, a real wild ride.
One would think at this stage in our lives most would be ready to slow the pace, not Darrell. MUGSY’S GRUBHOUSE is a dream we are embarking on. Darrell loves people and great food so here we go! Our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere while serving customers a meal worthy of their time and expense. Understanding what it takes to bring products from farm to table we’ll be paying strict attention to the quality of products chosen and meals served. We want to ensure you enjoy your time with us and look forward to coming again and again. We hope to see you soon!
